have you ever had any trouble with a digital dash in a car?

Im think about getting a Caddy with a digital dash and I'd hate for the brain of it to die

I had a cutlass with a digital dash that went out,the odometer just read error,but it still read the speed. When I traded it in they put it on there computer and it gave them the miles on the car,so even though it didn't work it still saves the mileage on the car computer
