No probably to Shallow to realize what true love is all about and will not get past the handicap?

There is a possibility that the girl will accept the proposal, if the girl looks not only on the physical appearance of a person but looks at the personality of people. Also, if the guy is really nice, then she might as well give in.

You say girl so she is young, why would she want to pick him to become a young widow to?
what special dose he have to offer her for the years of helpless suffering she will endure?
Not wanting to be a hard nose but why get married?
P.S I work with people with disabilities and the family's of the people. I have seen more bad happen when loved ones are put in a spot of marriage by made to feel guilt or pity for the other person.
I think it is selfish for someone to bring a "loved one" in to this.
just love them and leave it at that. is it such a big deal to be married?

There can be 3 ways with this situation.
1. She doesn't accept because she really doesn't love the guy.
2. She accepts because she loves sincerely love the guy.
3. She accepts because she pities him.
That's what I can think off. However, this kinda thing is really difficult to determine.

why not , its the person on the inside that counts , beauty can be seen from the inside , it would be a shallow decision to refuse just on the grounds of ones health or disabilities.beauty is in the eye of the beholder.And you can never judge a book by its cover!

If she truly loves you as the human being/person you are she will look past the disability(s) and say, "Yes!" You won't know unless you ask. GO for it dude!

Normally she wont do it ,but if circumstances are created in such a way that there appears to be no way out for the girl then she might have to concede.
