Yes. But they are used as temporary shelters. Hunters sometimes are out on the ice, looking for polar bears, or following a wounded bear. They see a storm coming and build an igloo. Two experienced people can build one in less than one-half hour.

Yes but the igloos are bigger and more modern now. They have central air conditioning and heat as well as indoor plumbing.

You need to get out more. Do more reading. They live like everybody else in the country. In homes, condo's, apartments.

No longer. Mostly prefab housing these days.
