The easiest is just to get the seedlings from your nearest garden center! :-)
But if you want to try it...
They can be reproduced from heel cuttings during the summer (Now is the proper time)
(A heel cutting is an offshoot of the parent plant with a sliver of the old wood still attached and is usually "pulled" form the parent plant)
You can also try seeds, but they are difficult to start..
I was told to put them in a plate with MILK to help them germinate, and then plant in seedling pots. Transfer to the final place once they have reached at least 3 inches tall.
(I tried the milk bit, but mine didn't germinate!).

if your lavender is large, you can divide it many times. or root cuttings in spring when things are in the growth phase, ive never gotten it to sprout from seed. but im sure lots of people have had.

Not one of the easy ones, you could, because it has a woody stem, with proper rooting powder, but it grows from seed very easily
