If we're talking real handball (the Olympic one;why do I have to repeat this here all the time:7 a-side, indoor, goals) then it's definitely the Romanians. I met the World Champions Cornel Otelea, Cristian Gatu, Roland Gunesch and I also met Vasile Stanga (European Champions'Cup winner, World Super-Cup winner 1986) . If you were talking abount recent times, I am befriended with most of the Romanian women's national team (current World Cup silver medalist) and I also met the Korean women's team, including some 1996 Olympic champions, as well as some great Hungarian players (Agnes Fazekas, Beata Siti and others). A couple of years ago all those teams used to have training stages in my town.
