i dont know what to do ill hold my hand at the bottom of the cage and when my hamster sees it she'll crawll on it and then crawll out when im about to pick her up u see i have picked ur up before to and she stayed on my hand but somtimes shell leave me and still she makes really loud squeeks and screams when i just pick her up with out her coming into my hand shell make those noise and shell make the noise when like if she bits me cause i smell like food or when shes nevius ill get scared cause of the bite and my hand will accudently hit the cage I NEED HELP THANK U

First of all, you need to not be afraid of the hamster. I know after a bite, that is hard to do! But after some time, it will get easier. When she climbs on your hand, cup your hand around her before your hand leaves the cage, so she can not excape your hand, then pull your hand out of the cage. Also, wash your hands before you put them in the cage with some soap that does not have a smell, that will help keep her from being so upset. good luck!

don't worry. keep trying to pick her up. she'll get used to it, but it's in her nature to try to run away from you. hamsters are really sweet, i had several and i loved them a lot. when my latest hamster died, he was 3 years old and i was so sad that i decided to buy a guinea pig because he lives longer. nevertheless, i still miss having a hamster.
