I pay my maids 30 baht a day...10 baht is 27 cents so i pay 71 cent a day for my maid..she arrives at 6 a.m. to cook breakfast does laundry by hand (hangs it out to dry.)Then she serves breakfast at 8 a.m. and at 8:30 she showers me and scrubs down all the body parts...at 9:30 she gives me 1 hour "thai full body massage"...at 10: i am ready for nap and she sings until i sleep..at 12 she awakens me by using an Ostrich feather to tickle me ..i wake up laughing and in a good mood. Now i call the driver to get the car ready for a drive by the sea...( a daily routine) i pay the driver 120 baht a day because he is a man.It is now almost 3 pm and the mid has cooked for 2 hours and i sit down for a late lunch. I could go on and on but i know you are probably mad at me...when i tell my friends of my life they call me a liar..but actually i am thinking of moving to LAOS because it is much cheaper to live than in thailand and the workers work for 35 cents a day..so i could get 2 for 1 price in LAO. The thai maid is permitted to leave at 9 pm....to walk home 3 kms.
