Dead Poets' Society - this is one of those movies that both challenges & haunts you. Its message being mostly "carpe diem" & to think outside the square [whether it be self imposed, imposed by your parents or by society]. There is a strong motif of society at the time [& still today] where people are quick to believe the worst of each other, make harsh judgements without thinking of the consequences & look for a convenient scapegoat. In this case, the scapegoat is a teacher who teaches his class to follow their hearts & a young man who has barely had the chance to live his life, commits suicide because he feels he can never live up to others' expectations. It encourages you to find yourself & be happy with who you are. It always makes me cry. Are you planning on watching all of these?

Oh man! I really didn't expect that this would make me cry...It really made me cry and gulp for air... I just love the connection of Denzel and Dakota here...
