Ok, in my opinion I'm sorry to say no. You have a lot of mixed feelings about him. If you guys are friends and the next minute you argue, that will not be a healthy and strong relationship together. There will always be stress inflicted. I would say no because you sound unsure about and a little uncomfortable about him. If you feel this way, go with your instincts and don't date him. If you need to break up, just say can we just be friends. I know he or yourself may get mad and of course feel sad, but you can live to be miserable with the guy your not unsure of.
