Can we still say rugby is a thug's game played by gentleman nowadays? Don't you think professionalism is turning rugby into something eles.

I agree. If you fake an injury in rugby you are a sissy while in soccer faking an injury is good. Other than that, everyone respects the ref.

Why. Its more confrontational, its turned alot into rugby league with the defencive and offencive options they take. Its more set pieces.
When people use to kill the ball you had the right to ruck. Buck Shelford got his scrotum literally torn out of its sacs. They have cleaned up the rucking laws. Its tough but who said they were gentleman. Its always been a tough demanding sport.

true and soccer is a gentleman's game played by thugs [actually prima dona ballerinas in my opinion] i hear they are bringing out a special Oscar for soccer players
