I'm going to a middle school with gangs.

There will be plenty of other kids like yourself that just want to be left alone by the gangs , seek them out. Also make sure that you have good relationships with your teachers and principal so that if or when you need help or intervention they can be a resource to you. And thirdly take karate or some other self defense course, not only will you learn to control your mind and body it will allow you a means of defending yourself. Not to go looking for trouble but to be able to project power when needed. Bullies and gangs don't go after the strong they prey upon the weak and vulnerable. Good luck to you.

keep your priorities in proper order.
in a few years, you should be well prepared to begin your technical and/or college education so that you can make a very satisfying adult life.
You've come so far from when you didn't know how to read and write. You could ruin a lot in a short amount of time by hanging with a crowd that will mean nothing in a few years from now.

Don't. Gangs are not your friends. Will they see you when you get sick or you are having problems at home? Make real friends who care for you and will be with your no matter what.

What u do is try to find someone u already know ex bus,classroom. Usually or at least at my school they know someone else. Then maybe u could form your Click.
