depending on what sort of history she has expertise in she can be a curator at a museum. or she could write a history book and sell it to college students then change a typo and call it a new edition so they have to pay 200 dollars for the new book instead of 30 for a used one and all the people with the old edition cant sell it back cause its worthless and then they dont get to eat cause they wasted all their money on the damn worthless book.

researcher, or work in archive or libraries . My father is a history teacher and he loved it, it is harder to teach history in lower grades but if you teach college students , it is much fun, as my father enjoyed it. In college , i think you can ask the students to research and make a report on the subjects given to them and everybody discuss the topic inside the classroom, the load will be lighter for your sister and her students will enjoy history than make them memorize dates and names
