It's a toss-up.
OS-X is arguably slightly more stable and much less likely to be the target of viruses, spyware, and crackerz. OS-X can only legally be installed on Apple hardware -- even the new x86 compliant versions.
Windows has far more software and hardware support and is much easier to network. Windows can be installed on any x86 compatible hardware.
Both are over-priced bloat-ware.

Windows, I say is the easiest to work with (opinions) cuz' of it's fast and reliable programs to do stuff with. Besides OSX sounds like something a Commordore 64 would use (if that thing even has a operating system) and everyone knows what 2 bits did and the flashy screens, and they tell us to make sure we don't get seizures on the games now computer,T.V, Game Boys, ETC. (People are dumb these days they didn't even give use warnings like that when we played them games).

Osx is definately the better design, infact windows is a cheap imitation of Osx but remember windows has far more support in terms of the softwares offered.

Depends on your preference and what you plan on doing? For video editing I hear OS X is best but I only use Windows so not sure.
