Good question, WHY??? Even my daughter won't touch her with a barge pole, it's just the Barbie hype...for those parents of children who get caught up in the having to buy every new item of Barbie crap that comes out....it's there own fault for starting it...It would be my worst nightmare. A house covered in pink plastic ****...Barbie as the Swan Princess....Barbie as Rapunzel....accompanied by plastic Unicorns and Pegasus. Giant plastic Pumkins for Cinderella Barbie. Stacks of tiny hideous clothes that if they were scaled to real size wouldn't even be worn by the cheapest hooker out there. I think Mattel should take up some responsibility for global warming for the ammount of utter plastic crap they produce. It's Ken I feel sorry for, for having such a plastic fake girlfriend, hehe. xxx

In the 1950's there was a modle women formed through media, or mainstream or whatever. Barbie is the Ugly American.....she kinda got a bad rap. didnt we all get a bad rap?

i think barbie is made very beautiful and has become the symbol of beauty .since people love the beauty and cant reach and posses it always so they have good feeling of having it.
last of all because their children love it, it has become even more lovely.
