just for the thrill of having people respond to them?
Does it make you feel closer to others around the world?

yes i think its nice when people respond to something i want to know , dosent make me feel closer to anyone in particular but its a good feeling that someone took the time and answered ,

Definitely. However if you rely solely on asking questions in Yahoo! Answers to get closer to the world, maybe it's time to turn off the computer.

it's not so much as the feeling of being closer to others around the world. for me, it's more like being connected. you have that chance to interact with another whose culture is totally different from yours. it's interesting to discover how one person's reaction may be radically different or the same as that of another over similar topics . it's a fun way to learn :)

yeah, it's nice to get input on questions you have always wondered about. i don't care about trying to get a bunch of answers. i do like asking questions that i need help with right at the moment. i also like to answer questions. :-)
