Most PP products are resistant to sunlight, but eventually the UV will break down the polymeric bonds and the PP wiil crumble to dust. Most items made of PP contain additives as UV stabilizers.
Certain compounds of Tin are excellent UV stabilizers. Adding a color alone helps significantly - the colorant absords the UV before it gets to the bonds. The darker the better - carbon black is a great stabilizer, but black is not a good color for a lot of things. PP without a stabilizer (called "barefoot PP") will crumble to dust in a year of exposure to sun.

Yep, C-H bonds and C-C are the only ones involved.

Polyvinylchloride (PVC, poly ethyl chloride) is not sun resistant as UV light breaks C- Cl bonds.

As such it is, absolutely. There are no light sensitive bonds. Only additives, like dyes, could be damaging the manufact since they can be light sensitive.
