Is good to make friends by these site?

I have met two men on-line. One in a yahoo chat room and the other through yahoo personals. The first I moved with. We planned an awesome life. I was with him for 3 years. He was killed by a jerk raising hell on a snowmobile. I currently am with the second, it has been over a year now with him. My suggestion is to ask questions and lots. Be serious, and see them on web cam. Do not offer for just a pic because you do not know if it is true. When time is right exchange home numbers and talk a lot. I mean alot. Meet in open public area the first couple times. I think it is no different than meeting someone locally, (bar,store, recreation center...etc...). if you have a doubt then be on your guard. Communication and trust are the most important things in any relationship. Good luck!!!

Yeah, its OK to make friends. Even having a relationship through the Internet is nice. But just be careful because sometimes people are just putting a good face to trick other people. Just take it slow and learn more about the person before going into a relationship. Take note, its different when replying to a person face-to-face and when through a keyboard.
My Opinion: I don't want to hurt any-body's feelings but people being in dating sites sure sound desperate... Sorry if anybody is offended. Maybe its also one of their thrills in life being single and broadcasting it to everyone that he/she is and is available for dating.

I've actually made quite a few friend's online. Some have turned out to become really good relationships. But always keep an open eye to people on the internet, you never know what they are like in person.

It don't work. The most important thing that attracts you to a person is non verbal communication, what u say without words. I've meet a few people from the Internet and they are so not like the picture u build up from chatting with them and photos are so misleading.

It's not bad to make friends on these sites. Pls. be sure not to post you information online as you know lot of people will disturb you and many you will find are not serious.
Love just happens.... So take time to chat and know the person first before you make any decision.
