Why worry for a developing country taking a bigger interest in world politics?
Why not worry about a developed country already taking the biggest interest in not just world politics but internal affairs in most countries?
With all its current might, China nowadays did not send troops to invade another country. Neither does it station troops in other countries surrouding target countries that it doesn't like. And most of all, CNN does not see the world from a Chinese' point of view.
You have a lot more to worry about US NOW than you will do about China.

China has been taking a very serious role in world politics and even contributed to the victims of Katrina Hurricane. China is the third largest contributor of food to leeser fortunate countries and send men to help victims of the Tsunami. Should you worry...no, be thankful that the government is both thoughtful and kind, rather than the agressive nation that the press has created. I am an American living in China and on a day to day basis, I see people responding to problems, and I saw workers contribute part of their pay checks to helps others...it was not mandatory but simply human kindness. There is a great deal of affection of the Chinese people towards America and are baffled by America's rebuff. Both the media and the administration seem to want to create problems where none should exist. The nonsense about Taiwan is a good example....Look at the history of the US support of the regime under Chiang Kai Shek who was corrupt and led to our 'ties' with that pseudo-democracy and our pledge to defend that island. Chiang only wished to continue his dictatorship and was aided by Americans like Everett Dirksen and Styles Bridges and three billion of our dollars were wasted. The population of China is 1.3 billion and half of that are females and only one third of the men are suitable for military service, which leaves an army of nearly 300,000,000 which is equal to the entire population of the US and Taiwan has only 20,000,000
people...The technology is here...who should do some serious thinking now. The US has proved its agressiveness...Can they prove their interest in world peace?

They already take a big interest in world politics. One of the UN observers killed in the Lebonan was Chinese. There's also a large contingent of Chinese on UN duties in Haiti. Concerned and interested, yes. Worried? I'd worry about other powers' reactions to China's coming emergence as a superpower.

We already should. China has already got the fourth largest economy in the world, bigger than Japan, and they've hardly started with capitalism. In fifty years time, that nation will dominate the world economy. They're already planning to put a man on Mars.
1 World $ 60,710,000,000,000 2005 est.
2 United States $ 12,360,000,000,000 2005 est.
3 European Union $ 12,180,000,000,000 2005 est.
4 China $ 8,859,000,000,000 2005 est.
5 Japan $ 4,018,000,000,000 2005 est.
6 India $ 3,611,000,000,000 2005 est.
7 Germany $ 2,504,000,000,000 2005 est.

Yes. This will inevitably cause more tensions between them and the US. If the US and China ever go at it, it's going to be the end of the world.
China will most likely launch a nuclear weapon at the US first. Then the US will retaliate. And then Russia will get pulled in. And Russia will start attacking the US.
All the other nations and even the so called allies of the USA will chicken out and hide in their basements.
When all is said and done, China, Russia, all of Europe, all of the US, etc., will be uninhabitable due to massive nuclear fallout.

No. The Chinese have enough on their hands just governing and subjugating their own people. Throughout their history they have been isolationists.
In addition, being a massive bureaucracy, they are not able to respond quickly to things.
This is a debate that started almost 30 years ago and there is still limited evidence of change.

Why should you be worried if a country whose population is almost a quarter of the Worlds population takes an interest? Or do you think it more democratic if the 5% that the US is of the World population tries to run everything?

Oh specific, conservatives by way of out the years have accomplished this time and time back. What do think of Eisenhower's speech on the protection stress-commercial complicated became all approximately? Ideology is merely prevalent intake, genuine politics has continuously been per paying for and advertising help for rewards. each and all of the speeches and rhetoric approximately principals and larger products are customarily BS. Many Neo-cons are out to bankrupt the government so it may on no account pay for, or levy taxes for, yet another social application ever back. in case you do in contrast to those clowns -initiate working and vote casting against them, through fact in case you at the instant are not with them -they are out harm you.

Yes, you should be worrying ,but if you do nothing and only worry about it ,it would turn out to be a nightmare for you ,and those who share the some mentality as you .
If I were you , I would stop worrying and live up to the envisaged
threat of China ,I think you know what to do, and turn the potential threat into opportunity ,wouldn't you?
