When I moved my friend promised to write to me often. In the beginning she did, but now its weeks till I will get an email from her. And I know for a fact that almost half of her time home is spent on the computer. I would tell her about it and sorta complain, but she takes things so seriously. For instance a person says something about her, even though its just a rumor they heard, and she immediently decides she hates them and will have nothing to do with them, which doesn't help matters at all. How do I tell her I would prefer to get answers a little sooner than three or more weeks. And not get her all mad at me? She is one of my oldest freinds.

Were you open to each other during that time when you were still seeing each other? If so, she wouldn't mind. I think the best way to say it is... "please write to me more often, i miss you!" She should see what you really mean.

I agree with the first answer that friends do drift apart and sometimes it is not worth the time and effort that is spent on trying to keep the friendship going.
Realize also that people/your friend might be busy with things that are going
on in her life and may not have time to write or call.
You might just have to have a face to face or call her to find out where you stand as a friend.

I guess maybe she is busy with something. But take note that true friends doesn't mean writing to each other every day. Tell her how much you miss her. If you want, tell her how you feel. But also consider that she also has a life of her own. Take care and God bless ^_^
