Treat them normally. I've served Jimmy Barnes in a newsagency, and Peter Garret in the supermarket, no biggie.
There are a lot of celebrities residing in the area, that I live in Australia. Just normal everyday people, you could walk past them in the street, look at them and smile, but it wouldn't really sink in who it was until they were gone.

I ran into "Billy Joel" last summer while fueling up a boat in "Oyster Bay', boy he was a lot of laughs.
"Hey Bill, how are ya, heading out on the Bay today"....... Grunt !
"How's work, making any progress on some new stuff"......Grunt !
He had the personality of a box of rocks, I think he was drunk !
