I have some positive stuff on there but my score plummeted from 604 to 475 damn near overnight from inquiries and a couple late payments. I'm starting to fall behind and a personal loan is my only available option. I know, I shouldn't be living beyond my means but need some help. I am geting a payment in 2 months for $4000.00 but need some help until then - any help is appreciated!

www.prosper.com is a place where you can request a loan and people can bid on it. They will consider your credit problems so you would have to be willing to pay a very high interest rate. Good luck

Go to your creditors and explain to them about what has happened to make you fall behind, offer to make a small payment each month to allow you to catch up... you need to tell them about your $4000 coming soon so they will be more ammenable to the idea...

Robbing Peter to pay Paul never works. Been there, done that. Your options are pretty much limited to the "payday" loan sharks, if you can deal with 400% APR interest rates.

Call your creditors first thing in the morning and explain your problem. The MORE you COMMUNICATE with your creditors, the more and the quicker they can help. You are going to hear this from other responders because it is the BEST THING to do right away. They will work with you as long as you communicate with them. I know, I;m repeating myself because I'm trying to get this point over to you to call your creditors right away.... Good Luck.....

Most of the banks that used to give losers like you credit were closed because of bad business practices and such . Pay your bills and start over again .
