Hey there.... Three easy problems, GL.
1)
How can you measure 6 litres of water using only 4 and 9-litre bowls.
2)
A table tennis ball fell into a tight deep pipe. The pipe was only a bit wider then the ball, so you can not use your hand. How would you take it out, with no damage?
3)
A man lives on the tenth floor of a building. Every morning he takes the elevator down to the lobby and leaves the building. In the evening, he gets into the elevator, and, if there is someone else in the elevator - or if it was raining that day - he goes back to his floor directly. Otherwise, he goes to the seventh floor and walks up three flights of stairs to his apartment. Why this man acts like that?

1) If you are using ONLY the two containers:
Fill the 9-L bowl.
Remove 8 L of water by using the 4-L bowl twice.
Place the 1 L water in the 4-L bowl.
Fill again the 9-L bowl.
Use the 4-L bowl to remove the 3 L of water in the 9-L bowl (since the 4-L bowl already has 1 L water in it).
2) Fill the tube with H2O that you used in (1) and the tennis ball will float or if you have a powerful blower, you can decrease the air pressure above the opening of the tube.
3) I agree that the man is too short to reach the 10th floor button of the elevator that's why he needs an umbrella or another person to press it.

1. fill 9 litre bowl. remove 4 litre using 4 litre bowl. left with 5 litre. put it into the container where u want to collect 6 litres.
next again fill 9 litre bowl. remove 4 litre using 4 litre bowl. left with 5 litre. remove 4 litre using 4 litre bowl. left with one litre.
pour it into the container where 5 litres was already put.
now u have 5 litre+1 litre=6 litres .
2. fill pipe with water. or if it is an open pipe prod it with a stick.
if u want the correct answer u need to specify all details.
3. he is a short person. while coming down to the lobby hewould be pressing the lower most button or one of those lower buttons.
he can reach only till the 7 button so if he is alone he has to go to 7th floor and then walk up 3 floors but if it is raining he might have an umbrella to press the 10 button and if someone else is there obviously they can press 10 for him.

1.
First, fill the 9-liter bowl. Use the 4 liter bowl to remove some water. You have 5 liters left. Set it aside in another bowl. Fill the 9-liter bowl again. This time, Use the 4-liter bowl and remove 2 full bowls (8 liters). One liter left. Add this to the first 5 liters. Total, 6 liters.
2.
Pour water in the pipe, filling it up. The small space will allow the water to go under the ball. The ball will float, and you can get it out of the pipe.
3.
He can reach only the 7th floor button by himself. Either he is short, or confined in a wheelchair. Either way, he can press the 10th floor button only if he had help from someone or had an instrument to push it himself, like a stick, or in case it rained, an umbrella

1. fill the container with two 9-liter bowls... that's 18liters all in all... then use the 4-liter bowl to take away some water.... so u need 3scoops of 4-liter bowl... that's 12 all in all.... 18-12=6
2. turn the pipe upside down so the ball will fall back to the ground... since u didnt say that its a water pipe... it could be another pipe which is not used and unattached... or if it is a standing pipe, then u can pour water into it so that the ball floats... since it is a very light ball... when it floats,u can easily get the ball now..
3. the man is short can could reach the numbers or level numbers until 7.... so at night, when there is nobody else in the elvator uin which he can ask for help, he will just go until 7 since its the only level nunmber he can reach the most... while if there is somebody else,he can ask for help...in the morning though,it would be too easy since he would just press level 1 or ground floor.

xy = 2x+2y says a rectangles section equals its perimeter, the position x,y are length and width. the purely effective integers are x=6, y=3, and x=4, y=4 which offer the aspects (and perimeters) as 18 and 16 and midway between is 17, so that they ought to have feared 17.
