i draw, i paint, i make odes, i arrange songs... i sing...i mold, i carve, i play the piano/organ, i play the guitar, i play the sax.
but when i was given the chance to go enhance my talents at the conservatory, i dunno but i chose to just run our family biz.

I don't have any frustration. I keep all my senses, ego and requirements under control. Some times I have failures in life but I try again with a great will power and GOD gives me everything I wish. Be brave and stand up....... Go...get your dreams.

That shouldn't frustrate you. Just try to make some time in your life to pursue your art interests.
Maybe it will make you feel better if you realize that you would have been broke and starving as just an artist and this way you can have a steady income and still be an artist. Sounds like the best of both worlds to me!
BTW, I've taken some of those conservatory courses and they don't "enhance your talents". Either you have talent or you don't. They just provide a space where people will appreciate you for a while until you have to face harsh reality.

You weren't wrong, you followed your heart. You made an important decision, and right or wrong it's a good thing that you are like you are. We can't be the perfect person at every crossroad in our life, and who said you made the wrong decision? There is probably a good reason your life is going in this direction. You have to know the money is better to learn business before you can truly understand how to be successful in anything at all.
When I started college and couldn't make up my mind on a major, that "it doesn't matter what you want to do", you still have to know how to do the books. By the way, Always sign your own checks. A degree is a degree no matter what job I ever applied for. They never cared what my major was anyway. I just needed that piece of paper.

know what you mean.... at times I feel like the family is siphoning off my life and my self a little at a time. But I chose to help them even at the cost of my own self development.
Sometimes I don't even know why I do it... It doesn't even matter if they're grateful or if I get rewarded. I just love them I guess, and I want to see everyone with a chance to be happy. I just want to make sure they get that chance. That's all I can give them.
But at times I just want to pack up and run. Escape. Never look back. Don't want to see emptiness envelope their lives. Don't want to see hope fade... as I leave.
I'm probably being arrogant and egocentric. They can take care of themselves. In a few years anyway because I've come up with a plan.
Anyhow gtg. Take care of yourself.

I joined the Military out of High School instead of going to college. Not having a degree had been a source of frustration for me, but I am going now finally at age 30.

Oh my! The biggest frustrations in my life are BAD DRIVERS! How many times have you been totally frustrated by someone driving way too slow or someone who cuts in in front of you, especially if they don't give you the wave to say thank you?!
Now don't get me wrong, this does not mean I am condoning road rage, but you asked about my biggest frustration, and this is it! Have a nice day!

All things money are frustrating me lately. That's a no brainer. My lovelife, or lack thereof, is also frustrating. The people who become interested in me aren't anyone I like back.
