No it is due to the "breaking " of the people the lack of responsibility of our government and the overflow of raghead culture, camel jockeys and jewel faces who keep most of there bodies and faces covered because although they claim to be holier than thou they're all marrying and fornicating with the SAME GUY! And those guys are doing there best to tempt our guys with the whole all the women are slaves b/s. This atrocity has got to stop! When is our Government going to learn to shut the gate and stop forsaking our own interests for those we do not share allegiance with?

Science is understanding and understanding is tolerance that said.....
Yes technology is growing and yes cultures are clashing , but whether or not that is a bad thing depends upon the individual . You can either use it to better your understanding about other people or to spread your hate . Also technology creates a corporate world and in a corporate world you must remain politically correct and have polite mannerism at all time as not to offend anyone .
Yes science is disturbing the "morals" religions created , but those "morals" were filled with self righteousness and a hatred (or pity if you had "a heart") for all outsiders . Science however is unbiased it is merely truth by proof and evidence as we discover it .
Science is not ignorant to all moral ethics, for example... a human fetus does not have the capacity to think until it is eight months in the womb so comparatively speaking abortion up to that stage is the equivalent to cutting down a tree , it is not murder to a (by definition) "human being" . As for "playing god" by cloning or stem cell research , we are the gods here on earth and until we die we have no real evidence to state otherwise .

Scientific and technological developments are strictly a result of intellectual hairsplitting analysis with the goals of exploring nature and developing solutions to human and societal problems. On the other hand, morals and ethics are strictly personality and character related issues based on cultures, religions and societies.
Development of nuclear physics has nothing to do with the issue of dropping an atomic bomb on Hirshima. Development of rocket science has nothing to do with Hamas or Hizbellah shooting rockets into Israel. Research and development is the scientist's job and his challenge; whether he steals another scientist's work is a character issue. How his development of new technology is used by the government or groups of people is an issue of belief and values they carry or don't carry.

No, I think it is do to selfishness and the desire for material things. If you think of it scientific development should be a source of logic and reason. Logic and reason isn't a basis for moral shortcomings.
The more someone leans towards a material way of life, the farther they depart from moral understanding.

No way. Moral ethics have aways been below what is thought to be ideal. Check out the Bible or the ancient writing that have been found.
