The technical term is "wind." That's air in motion. There's also the fact that warm air rises and cold air sinks, which causes various weather patterns. Check out the chapter on Weather in "Know It All!" by Ed Zotti (Ballentine Books, 1993) for an accurate and amusing explanation of the forces involved.

we already mentioned motion in air is wind and it can also move due to temp differences but its the differences in pressure that cause the air to move. because air moves to an area of less pressure and pressure differences is caused by the uneven heating of the surface (like asphalt heating faster than grass) and thus weather has increased in intesity afetr human tampering wich is funny cuz i really don't think i have any idea about what i'm talking about or if i even answered the question but i just keep typing on about wind and stuff i didn't even know i pated attention to in class... strange... your not supposed to learn things in school... eh... moo.

i think alot of what i said may of been false but i'm too lazy to check if my info is accurate so sorry i'm not too helpful....
