I love both, but prefer dogs. I have 3 wonderful dogs that I take hiking with me. can't do that with a cat.

Dogs. because cats arent really fun to me cats are for people are not so social

I have a dog.
but I want to have a cat.
Cat is a free animal. Not you, but cat does what she wants.
And dogs are more respective to owner.
Dog does all the commands and it is more devoted.

Dogs. I have both and dogs love their owners. Cats tolerate their owners. Actually cats own their owners.

Dogs, much more personality, you can "play" with them, and they can do tricks.
The cat we had, had an attitude problem and was mean to our children.

a dog could not exist on it's own, they have to "pack".
a cat can exist on it's own. It's hunting instincts are somehow still intact.
Cats get my respect.
