It is a bit complicated. You can't find it unless you are in a audio or video chat with that user. While in a A/V chat, use any network analyzer software ( i.e: ethereal) to find out from where the packets are comming. The IP you get in this way is exactly the same of that user's IP if the user is using a real IP. If the user is under a enterprise firewall, then you will never be able to get his/her private IP. Instead you will only get the real IP of that firewall.

Una idea de ultimo momento:
Descarga 3dtraceroute desde ahi:
http://www.snapfiles.com/reviews/3d_Traceroute/3dtraceroute.html
o busca mas programming for networking, network activity at:
http://www.snapfiles.com/
There are manny that can provide you an ip adress but i dont now if they work with yahoo messenger :)
****************************************
Open Start accesories> Command Promt
go to C:> (with cd..cd)
After
Step 1: Find out what ports are being used:
C:\>NetStat
Which will return the following (your list will probably be much longer):
Proto Local Address Foreign Address State PID
TCP EC968728:1108 somesite.corp.com:https ESTABLISHED 4072
After go and read this:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/907980/en-us
it is complicated i have to admit but I don't find the simple way:)
You can try tto download the more complex process viewer than task manager (search on the web)

Click on Start- run- type cmd hit enter. This should open command promt window.
Type ping website address hit enter. This should display the IP address.
Note: Make sure that there is a space between ping and the wesite address you are typing.
To know your own IP address, type ip config and hit enter.

No it really is not any longer any further a answer. optimal persons have "floating" IP addresses as against fixed ones, so as that the IP address is diverse each and every time they go surfing. it ought to also unfairly punish diverse, harmless, human beings utilising that IP address. besides, there is not any longer something scuffling with them from utilising a chum's pc, or one in a library or cyber-cafe.

No-you can't find IP address of any messenger user. That is why so many dirty things/dirty chats/web cam shows etc are done throuhg these chat engines.
