Just the same as the current situation with Israel. A country is defending itself against attack from terrorists.

America has survived without many attacks since 9/11 because it is fighting back.

This is not a chicken and egg question. The terrorist attacks come first then the retaliation.

If you curb the retaliation you give the terrorist more freedom to plan, move and execute. If that is what you want pull the troops back but please don't shout when Americans then start dying in the homelands.

I'm surprised that we've escaped unscathed for so long. I think the next time we are attacked by terrorists they will be of the homegrown variety. That is, people born here who sympathize with terrorists around the world.

US must watch out! It's poking it's nose too often and at too many places! Things might get really bad. It would have been better to develop their own home than speand billions of dollars on wars. So Wasteful!

With so many dying due to US intervention, who knows which orphaned child becomes the next OSAMA BIN LADEN!!!!!!

The US is already a target for terrorism and it's only a matter of time before another attack takes place. If it happens, it happens. *yawn*
