Smelly Shoes Remedy

There is no cure for smelly shoes... even if you do a quick "I really need these shoes for tonight" fix.. people can smell your shoes and feet once the quick fix wears off. Best thing to do is throw them away, and start new. People often get attached to a certain pair because they are comfortable, but that is the problem. If you limit yourself to only a couple of pairs and don't wear socks or hose between your sweaty feet and your shoes they will bear the brunt of the stench and eventually "die".
Just do it. Buy a new pair, and care for them, give them a break now and then. Make them jealous and take a different pair out tonight..

Even better than baking soda is lavender oil. Lavender is a natural deodorizer, and it works especially good on leather shoes, even sandals. Rub some into the shoe (you can find lavender oil at health food stores or on Ebay), let them sit overnight, and you will be AMAZED at the difference

throw them out. the smell never leaves, even after treatment. Its the feet themselves that need to be treated. get new shoes and then start the kitty litter treatment. put some in an old sock and put it in the shoe( not reg litter, the Oder fighting stuff, or put dryer sheets in them)

I heard that if you put some kitty litter in the bottoms of old socks or stockings and stick them in your sneaks overnight...it does the trick. Close the tops of the socks/stockings with rubber bands or something so the litter won't fall out.

Fart into them. The combining of the two stinks will cancel each other out and you'll be left with fresh-smelling shoes.
