They're both stupid alcoholics and I like them both. My fav is Peter Griffin. What a maroon!!

I think Peter Griffin tries to hard, I just got a more of a forced feeling with him. Homer has more pathetic-ness, which makes his stupidity funnier - in the overall character build. It is close, for me, but I choose Homer Simpson.

First I liked Homer more, but now Peter. The Simpsons have really gone to suckville and Homer is more obnoxious than funny now.

i would have to say homer cause he has been around a lot longer and besides he yells better then peter and he has bart to contend with where peter has his wife to contend with homer has the duff beer camagine giong and what does peter do really nothing and homer if he got mad could blow up springfield remember he works at a nuke plant and he could hit the wrong switch and well peter can not do that from being what ever he is suppose to do so homer all the way
