Abortions should remain legal.

Even if a person feels having an abortion is a "sin" or wrongful.

If you do not believe in abortion. Then do not have one. Simple as that.

Don't argue religion. Not everyone believes in God in this world.

I am against termination of pregnancy after 16 weeks. In California, there is a few places who allow it up to 24 weeks. I feel that is when the line is crossed since then it can be declared a baby who can live (with medical staff).

Anything less than 16 weeks.

Abortion should be legal yes, simply because we all have a choice. I don't believe abortion should be used for birth control, simply because the woman is too lazy to remember to use protection or take her pill.
If a woman is raped, and forced to have the baby but gives it up for adoption... what happens when that child finds out it's the product of rape? Unless the parents are emotionally equipped to handle that type of issue it could be very detrimental to the mental health of the child. What if the mother kept the baby... and couldn't get past the rape.. then what?
What if a mother of 3, pregnant with another... is told that the pregnancy will likely kill her and leave her other 3 children motherless... should we withhold the right to abort from her?
What about two teenagers with a lot going for them, make a mistake...should we withhold abortion from them.. and possibly have another family on the welfare roll instead of having a college education and better paying jobs?
All of that isn't to say that I am simply prochoice. I believe that there are a lot of problems with open abortions, but I would much rather the choice be there, then taken away from everyone.

Yes, a fetus can not feel pain or think. It is no more alive than a plant. A person should not be forced to give birth to carry around and give birth to such an organism when terminating the pregnancy would be beneficial to all involved. Also, once the baby is born it will require thousands of dollars of support from someone be it the mother, an adoptive family, or tax payers. The child will go through a life knowing it was unwanted. Abortion is the best solution to many situations.

I don't think I'll ever get an abortion but I want them to be legal because what if I was raped and didn't want to have the baby or being pregnant could cause me to lose my life. I wish there was some way to better control who gets abortions so lazy people don't use abortions as birth control.

I dont think so.I also dont believe there are any circumstances in which is should be allowed.I understand that rape happens, unwanted pregnancys happy,etc..but there are plenty of familys who need/want a childs love but yet cant have children.Even if you are too young to raise the baby or whatever it doesnt mean that another family wont love it and accept it as their own.I think adoption is the least selfish thing you can do.Abortions are one of the most selfish things you can do.Not only is it taking a life but it is (even if you do not want to raise the baby) taking the chance away from another family that actually want to love a child. So,im against it,everyone says its choice but actually no one should really want to make the choice that kills a baby. That is my opinion.

there are records of babies showing movement when they're in the womb- they are alive. as for the argument that they are not self- aware and are therefore "no more alive than a plant"- they aren't self- aware for the first few months out of the womb, and if you killed the "plant" after it left the mother, that would be called MURDER. Abortion should not be legal, except in the case of a pregnancy fatal to the mother. Adoption is always an option.

Yes, they should, simply because it is a woman's right to choose. Not to even mention the responsibility it takes to bring a child into this world. A parent should be prepared for that responsibility and shouldn't have to bring a child through hell just because the government refused to let her have an abortion. We should raise our children well - it's a lifelong obligation and one that parents should make sure they're ready for.

This is a really hard ques to answer. No you should never kill a child, however i do believe that in some cases a woman should have a right to choose. In cases such as rape or if the mothers life is at risk i do believe that you should be able to choose. But if your just messing around and ops. you get pregnant that was your choice and you have to live with the mistakes you made.

Abortions are legal and they should stay that way. Every child born should be loved and wanted by his/her parents.
