I had two kinds of bad experiences:

1) paid for the item using PayPal, never received the item, complained through PayPal but the guy/girl canceled the PayPal account, so I never received the money back (it was a relatively small amount). Lesson - if a seller has 100% rating, check, how many sales she/he conducted. If less than 100 - be careful.

2) The seller clearly violated the rules of eBay (and U.S. laws), I reported to eBay asking it to interfere, but no action was taken against the seller (I've got a negative feedback in retaliation). Lesson - don't deal with a seller whose rating is less than 99%.

Overall lesson - eBay is great as long as things go smoothly, but it's customer service almost always takes the seller side or no side at all.

I've only had one bad experience. I had paid for an item and didn't receive it. But I reported the person and got my money back from Ebay so everything worked out in the end. I love Ebay.

eBay is the largest online marketplace and one of the most popular ways to earn an income from home with a PC and internet connection. Selling on eBay is inexpensive and easy to start. Ebay has a number of tools for sellers to maximise sales. These are eBay Pulse, Hot items report, merchandising calendar. By sourcing products at a low price, you can increase your profit. Yes I do. I had listed my piece of art for sale internationally. My parent site is Indian. It was not listed anywhere else ... I mean in any of their international sites ... but have been charged. I notified this to them. They have never replied. They are not concerned. In spite I have been duly charged.
