I too call it a binky and I took it off the clip. Not because it was a risk but my chld slept on his stomach and I thought a clip on his clothes would be uncomfortable when he was sleeping.

No clip. My daughter was a tummy baby (despite what all the books say and making sure she could lift her head before putting her on her tummy) and I was afraid the clip would hurt her. She only needed a binky for a few weeks until she found her thumb. Her thumb sucking (despite all the crazy people telling me my daughter is going to be deformed from sucking her thumb although our wonderful doctor says not to worry) is the best thing ever because she can't lose her thumb like she did her binky.

I think the best thing to do is take the binky off the clip. I would feel better about it.

My daughter never had a binky. I would take the clip off however, to be safe.

Clip off !Babies do turn there heads and move there arms alot while sleeping.The clip can poke or even cut the babies face and arms.
Always remember safety first.If you have questions don't hesitate to call your doctor there are no such thing as stuopid questions.

You arent supposed to leave the clip on because the cord that it is attached to is a strangulation hazard...definitely clip off! It's not worth the risk!

First of all you can call it what ever you want binky pasy what ever some people are so anal any ways I always took it off cause I was scared it was going to choke my daughter but what ever you feel safe with its up to you
