Small objects that do not interefer with the look of the shelf can be placed on the shelves.
Also, the best idea I think would be to make a little marketing sheet with information about the shelf (composition, varieties of hanging styles, manufacturers, suggested locations for moutning, pricing, availability, shipping time). Then frame the marketing sheets and place them on eahc shelf. It will answer a lot of questions and make the shop look less empty.

Is this a riddle? I would guess that there would be other items in the store to help fill the place. If not, books, silk plants, candles, and little knick-knacks can help sell the shelves.

Buy picture frames from wal-mart with the small display picture deals in them. Put them on the shelves so they look like something important. When people ask about them, tell them whoever is in the picture is your aunt, uncle, mom, dad, niece, nephew, etc.
