Elway was the total package. Montana was a system QB and Marino couldn't run.
Walter is the best all around back. Emmit is a stat whore, Barry to improvistional, and LT too young
Rice is the best bar none just because of heart. Lynn Swann is overrated - look at his career numbers. Irvin and Harrison are good/great, not legendary
didn't see much of Lambert. LT changed the game but Ray Lewis is the best of the rest for longevity and heart. Urlacher is good. I'd say a tie with LT and Ray Ray.
Deion was a shutdown corner in his prime (time). He shut off an entire side of the field. Woodson was good for a long time as was Ty Law, but no one is better than Deion. His style changed the game too. And he's a great return man. Champ is too young.
Ronnie Lott defined the position for the modern game. Lynch I think is a system safety. Palomalu is good but young. and Woodson was in his later years as a safety.

Well, art is art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water! And east is east and west is west and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now, uh... Now you tell me what you know.
