Keep trying to talk to her, but don't pressure her into it. I know it can be hard, but just try and be there for her.
If you feel like you should tell an adult, if she needs help, could you go to a school counselor or an adult she trusts?

Get her some professional help. It could be because she's being physically or sexually abused...Either at home, or by someone she trusts. There are many reasons for it. However whatever the reason, its self destructive and could get worse (suicide attempts) ... Talk to a parent or someone at school and get her taken care of. Support her the best you can, listen, and try and help, but most of these situations require someone trained to deal with them.

just talk to her about it. let her know you care. the worst thing you can do is be hard on her. i wouldn't tell her parents before asking her, unless it gets too serious. her parents may not understand (like my parents did), so it might make it more difficult.
if you find out what she cuts with and you can get ahold of it, do so. some things you can have her try are piching herself or using a red marker/ pen to mark herself. some people just want to see the red. that worked for me. hope this helps!

Its tough but try to talk to her about it. Whatever shes going through. Don't pressure her to stop though cause she'll do it more. Just help her with whatever shes going through & it'll all be fine.
