Take a Real Estate Principle course. Some state may require you to take additional courses either in college or in the Real Estate field(like ethics or etc.) then schedule an appointment with the Real Estate Board of your state with supporting documents of your courses' grade. If you past the test, they'll send you your license. When you got your license, take that to your local real estate broker and ask for a job.

Different states have different requirements, but you'll have to take a course (usually a couple months long) and then a test. Check out real estate schools in Maui to find courses in the area .

I'm a real estate agent in Florida and initially I tried twice to start my real estate career. The first time I responded to an ad in the paper by a real estate broker's office which said they were looking to train agents. The second time I tried, years later, was to go to a broker's office and ask if they needed help and would they hire me if I took the required courses. Either way works.
So a broker's office can pull you in and sign you up for the initial salesman's course on their premises. Or they can tell you the school (junior college is where I went) where to attend and you sign up yourself. Either way you go you have to pay for the course.
The course is the initial real estate salesman's course, lasts about 14 weeks, and you must pass with a certain grade. Once you pass you're allowed to sit for the big exam. You fill out an application, pay a certain amount of money, get your fingerprint card and your criminal check done, get your picture taken and send them in. You'll be notified of the exam date. Not everyone passes the first time....So allow yourself from 3 months to a year to pass this exam.
After you pass that exam there is a "post salesman's course" you need to take within a specified period of time and turn in the grades fo (for here) the Department of Business and Professional Regulations. Then you're sent your license and can sign up with any broker you choose, or work for a company who needs real estate people who has a broker you would work under.
Here a broker requires that you have a car (your own or leased) that's new within 3 years. The broker I started with said if I didn't have $10,000 to start with that he would not take me on with his group. Most salles persons work on commission, and it took me several years to realize that there are a few who work on some stipend kind of salary. The broker's office will then train you "their way". And most won't let you start unless you are a realtor (although some allow you to work if you don't sign on as a realtor). Being a member of the realtor group you will pay quarterly to use the MLS, you'll pay dues too. Some brokers require that you "rent" your desk space (it's the cost of renting an efficiency apartment), plus you'll pay for long distance calls and the copies you make. You are considered an independent contractor so you'll need to purchase your own occupational license, and of course your own cell phone.
Every couple of years you'll need to renew your license, and to do that you have to take an update course (can do that thru the mail) and pay for that, plus pay to renew your real estate license.
Right now it's a buyer's market. In some places right now the market is stalled or frozen. If you see that real estate will be booming in your state next year then now is a good time to start your career by schooling.
Remember that the real estate business is profitable best for from referrals and repeat business. If you've lived in your city for many years, born there, belong to organizations and have many friends, belong to a church there, and maybe even there is a lot of business being conducted there, then you will do well in real estate. Many people come to real estate after working many years for an employer, and they've saved their money to start this business.
You might want to check as maybe your state has courses online, or maybe things are done differently there in Maui. I know that you can only sell real estate in your own state since the license is given to you by your state .Good luck to you.

I ran a search and found nothing. Perhaps contacting your local community college would be helpful.

Well, art is art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water! And east is east and west is west and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now, uh... Now you tell me what you know.
