Now that's a great idea! He's clearly experienced with the action stunts (from Knight Rider), with beautiful women (Baywatch) and with acting suave and exciting (witness his singing career.) He's well practiced with a British accent too. If he is going to be the next James Bond, they should make the movie in Germany, where he is very popular and people would work for free just to be in his general vicinity. :-) One problem, I don't think James Bond would look good with a beard, because we can't trust Hasselhoff with a razor... remember when he got hurt while shaving a little while ago?

James Bond is English.
David Hasselhoff simply wouldn't work. It would be cringe-worthy at best, vomit-inducingly infuriating at worst.
This is the worst casting idea I've ever heard. What next? Casting Jamie Foxx in the title role of the biopic of Pope John Paull II?

That would be almost as bad as casting Steve Martin as Inspector Clouseau. I truly, truly hope you weren't serious and asked the questions for shock value only.
The car was a better actor than David Hasselhoff!

i think that it will be a good idea and better put Kit ( of the Knight Rider Car) as his car and maybe this time he will indeed returned it to the home base
