Crocodiles and alligators are pretty close, and in the 50's, I believe, they found a fish off the coast of Madagascar?, that had supposedly been extinct for many millions of years. I think it is called the Coelacanth, or something close. Can't forget about the Komodo dragon.

Yes, I would think of the animals and insects that we see today are the descendants of those gigantic dinosaurs in the past. I believe that they have evolved into what we see today. Anyway, haven't we tried cross-breeding of animals, plants, etc... to get a different kind out of them? So I presume the same applies to the dinosaurs of the past.

Though the real dinosaurs live only in our memories, the dinosaurous problems like ego, terrorism, violence etc continues to live in this world.

Yes> they are still alive ,but there are many forms of them for example chickens and alligators. like many other things they are still alive but in different forms!

They're birds, now. Also, the crocodile & alligator...even sharks. All 3 of those have been around a long time.

cockroaches are the most similar to what they were in that day (yes, cockroaches are the oldest living thing on the planet). Crocodiles are very close as well.

yes & no. There are some that never were alive, like;Edsell cars
disco dancers,mobile homes,ice cream makers etc.
maybe I mixed em' up with eyesores. my bad.
