I like him alot and if you really listen to the words in his songs it gives you a certain respect for him. Some people say he makes no sense because he wrote songs about being against violence, etc and on the same CD a song about shooting someone. If you grew up in his world you would know that the majority of the people don't want to lead lives like that (poor, gang bangin, etc.) but that is what they are givin to deal with. His song that says "My stomach hurts so I'm lookin for a purse to snatch" that part makes me want to cry. I guess some people have to have lived in poor neighborhoods to understand him and know where he is coming from.

Tupac was REAL, HONEST & A POET in his own way that I think those of us who liked his music .....whether you are black ....white......hispanic.....asian....whatever.....
could always understand where he was coming from....even though we may not have went through some of the same things as Tupac did ( Growing up ...etc ) That didn't matter ......because he had such a great gift of getting his message / point across to everyone that you couldn't deny he made you feel something ......on top of that he wrote all of his songs ....some songs he wrote in one days time , and kept writting songs/lyrics because he naturally had that talent & ability to do those things & probably not even consider it really " Work " ......it just came easy to him..........that is so hard to find & so rare for people to come around like that .....who just have so much carisma, true talent & the drive to succeed in that industry.....that it almost comes too easily for them. We don't have many people like that right now in the Entertainment Business/ Music Industry...........it's a lot of Poser's & Fake's .............. Tupac is definitely one of the BEST rapper's that has ever graced the face of Rap Music........& will always be held to that in such a high respect.

amazing. he was going through a rough time mentally. the streets were forcing him to be a g but his roots were telling him to use his voice to change the world. you can see both these characteristics come up in songs, i.e the contrast between songs like keep ya head up and still dont give a ****. this character thing would cause emotions to be flying every where, this is reflected in his music also. wen you hear songs like keep ya head up and dear mama this is wen he is at his best. oh and thugz mansion was beautiful. tupac was much more complicated than i have stated.

His music was elementary. His lyrics were amateurish and show his lack of education. He had some decent beats that were supplied by Dr. Dre. On balance, he was an idiot and is better off dead than alive.
