I wish they were still aired so my kids could grow up with Foghorn Leghorn, Bugs, Daffy, and the rest. The only ones we ever see are tiny toons (or something like that) on cartoon network

Yeah I know what you mean.... I miss them. You can download a lot for free because a lot of them are now public domain rather than copyright.
Alternatively, I'm sure you can buy box sets of them on DVD. That's certainly what I'm going to do when I start to hear the patter of tiny feet. No way are my kids growing up without Loony Toons, Merry Melodies and all the others.

many of the older cartoons have been taken off the air because the next generation of cartoonist and artists have created new animated works that may be more appealing to children when in comparison to the older works. Another reason is that characters like Speedy Gonzalas are gone is because people complain that there are subtle racist statements have been made (especially in the older black and white cartoons made frame by frame-but this is pre looney toons)

they can be found on cartoon newtwok a lot and you can find them on boomarang and once in a while you can find them on different cables channels during the middle of the nite and some movies such as twister have taz in the begining and then there are the couple of loony toon movies but they were not all that good though

goofy is working for mickey and minnie mouse at Micky D's. Donald Duck is in an insane asylum, bugs bunny and elmer fud are in a retirement home too old to chase each other, Chester finally got to eat Tweety bird, Yosemity Sam now works as a security guard for WB, The tasmanian devil is in the demolition business, and Wile Coyote is still chasing the road runner.

looney toons were bugs bunny , porky pig, foghorn leghorn, daffy duck, the roadrunner and coyote. there are several collections out on dvd, well worth the cost.
