Abortion kills a life no matter what stage it's in. If you believe in God and in the Commandments but are for abortion you are confused.

How stupid is it for a neocon to say what Democrats are for in the first place, I'm a Catholic and have never been for abortion ever. You do realize that 50% of the abortions that happen are from Republican women, so this issue is really lame coming from a woman. I don't believe your are a women now, because of your comments. This is normally an issue that men complain about, and really don't have any say so over my or any other woman's bodies.

I don't know how you can be opposed to abortion and believe in God. And of course the answer is that you do not believe in God you believe in the Anti Christ.
God invented abortion in the form of miscarriage and uses abortion every day. So if you think abortion is wrong, then you can only base your beliefs on the teachings of the Anti Christ. No where in the Bible does it say that abortion is murder and if it did it would imply that God is a murderer. And of course, God is not a murderer. In fact when a death occurs on earth, God's followers are offered eternal life. He does not kill. We must assume that when abortion occurs, there is no death. God simply saves the soul of the fetus. To believe otherwise you would have to believe that God is a murderer.
I can tell by your question that you have already been brainwashed by the Anti Christ. However, it is never too late to repent and give your life to Christ.

The Same way some Republicans can claim to be Christian, while supporting war. They not only break the 6th commandment but the 9th and 10th.

6. Thou shalt not kill.
9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
10. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his a$$, nor anything that is thy neighbor's.

It has been shown that the Bush administration misrepresented information concerning weapons of mass destruction's (WMD). - False witness.

It is also pretty clear that he would like to take control of the regions oil. In fact, the strategy was to pay for the war using their oil and I don't even think the owners were consulted. - covenant thy neighbors property.

In an unjust war, this is not only killing, It is MURDER.

As for abortion; I wish people would not abort their fetus, but I would not want to force them into having an unwanted child. I would be condemning a newborn to hell on earth; I am not that cruel. Besides, I understand Christ's teaching, to mean I should not force my beliefs on other people. If they do wrong, it is up to God to punish them, and not me. And he does, when a mother aborts a fetus, her chance for new life is taken: what greater punishment is there.

"yogi" I hope my answer rings true to you. No disrespect intended to good Republicans.

On a side note: Would you take a look at about 8 - 10 minutes of this interview with Professor Steven Jones ? It's a 45 minute video and well worth looking at, to its end. At the very least, pass it on to those you care about.

How can Republicans say they value lives (stem cell, abortion, etc.) and still send our young people to die in a war that is unjust and built upon a lie? Valuing life is valuing life, period! Not all democrats are "for abortion" either. As a sideline, may you never experience an unwanted pregnancy that has you very fearful and lonely.

Killing and murder are not the same. Abortion is murder. For the confused answerers above, in war you "kill" the enemy. Not all Democrats believe in abortion, but that is a standard rights issue for their party...and they have to mask it by claiming it is a "pro-choice" issue.

Watch the stereotypes, there. The only way we can get rid of the poison in politics is to stop painting a broad picture from a small percentage of extremists on both sides.

That said, to answer your question:

Hypocritical, don't you think? Even worse: It's not okay to kill a crazed lunatic serial killer or kill someone in a war, but it's okay to kill an unborn baby.

If someone believes in God, it's doesn't automatically mean the Christian god. I believe there might be a God, but that it's not the Christian god.

It doesn't have to be all or nothing.

Go to google and look up the Annotated Skeptics Bible. You'll find out how moronic the bible is at times.

How can republicans say they believe in God when actually they are for war? That's an oxymoron!

How can you type? Are you really stupid enough to think that ALL democrats think that about abortion? Just how old are you, anyway? Not old enough to vote, I hope. Get an education before you start babbling horsepiss again!

Both parties have serious flaws, but I did become a Republican BECAUSE of the abortion issue. (I'm the first REP in my family, they were not happy)
