As you're probably aware, as of this fall, both UPN and the WB will cease to exist; instead we'll have the CW network, which will combine shows from both networks (note that only "network" programming is affected--with UPN, we're just talking about the shows that run between 8 and 10 p.m. on weeknights). Unfortunately, there's only so much room in the schedule, and a number of shows on both networks have been cancelled. The UPN shows going to CW include Top Model, Smackdown, Everybody Hates Chris, All of Us, Girlfriends, and Veronica Mars.

So in L.A., KTLA 5 (the former WB affiliate) will be the CW station, and KCOP 13 (the former UPN station) will join a new network called "My Network TV" (you might've seen the "my13" logos already), which will air dramas in the "telenovela" format (soapy dramas with limited runs of 13 weeks, 6 days a week).
