I understand all your argumtments. ( except Alan's - he thinks the Bible is the only scripture on earth and Christanity the only religion which is racist in a way and should be reported). My question is if God does not feel sex as en emotion inside, how come we feel that emotion? The question goes for all gods. No scripture ever mentions that god was turned on and had sex! ( The Indian scriptures are metaphors for a metaphysical discipline called Kundalini Tantra.).

God is not a sexual being. Why? The purpose of sex is procreation. God is a genderless being that does not need to reproduce. Since we have the Roman and celtic etc. pantheon, that may be evidence that God had decided to split himself and form demigods to play as intermediates, but there is still, in the background of those beliefs, an all power omnipotent being that would be God undivided. Undivded-no gender- no need for sex.

Well, Christians have come a long way since Eden. Maybe eating the apple made them sexual. Though many I have known were colder than a frozen fish stick.
Many other religions are more open and frank about sex. Even the Jewish men are taught about making sex good for there wives. and the Indians have a great attitude, even have Gods about sex.
So I think it doesn't matter if a God or Gods is horny or not, we are just born that way.

No sexual thing related to God... Well let's take this way... Someone said Christians: God has a son, Is not made natural (with sex), God didn't come in one night and made Him, His son is Jesus, born from Mary who was virgin, Jesus is a divinity and was born like one... And that thing what it is said in bible, that human is made after the image of God; "image" there represents that we are all have a SOUL and not bodily talking, and is the similitude between our "image" and His "image" represents the sentiment, the will, the reason, everything we have in common with God. Our purpose on the world is to thank God for the gift He gave us (the life) and we can thank Him with improvment, without suffering, holiness etc. God is not a sexual being.

Yes, he has a sex and a gender. That's why He's called He. He had intercourse with the Hindu Goddess Shiva (the Dancing Goddess, who I happen to worship pesronally) and the contraception failed. God didn't really want to go through the shame of having sinned himself, and he did feel a little guilty, so he quickly thought of something: "I'll send my only begotten illegimate son down onto Earth and say I deliberate created him to save the people of Earth. That way, they won't criticize me for my lustful indescretion. I'll call him Jesus." And that is the true story behind the Christ child and why God is called his Father.

OK, I am a Christian, and I know that our God is, first of all, NOT a being, he is a spirit, a power, a force. He does not have the same feelings as we have, we are humans, HE is NOT. That is kinda like saying, if God can see everything that is going in, then we can too. OR if God can create things, such as the earth, animals, humans, all kinds of things, then we can too. BUT that is NOT the way it is, we are human beings, and he is a spiritual life. He exudes powers we don't and vise versa...so no, he is not.

We were created in his image, right? And most humans are certainly sexual! Of course, if there IS only one God, there aren't many other gods to have sex with.. I think this is one of those questions that may be stuck open... until you meet your maker.

It depends on the religion. Some gods arent, and have babies born from their heads or something. Some are.
