probably for the same reason "black folk" always reference white folk, we aren't honkies or crackas or the white devil, there are lots of white racist but the black folk are mostly racist. you black folk teach racism to your children, when you are in the walmarts, you don't say that man over there, you say that white man over there, you always have to differentiate between the color of people.black folk hang on to that color issue as tightly as they can, they wouldn't have anything to bytch about if they didn't

well I guess all of the racist people need to quit eating certain foods because it was the africans that introduced these foods to the american people. It is called soul food. watermelon, ribs, candied sweet potatoes or yams, greens and fried chicken. Carrot and Raisin salad. Fried corn. Hush puppies. Corn pone.Greens. Liver and onions. Lima beans with ham hocks. Stewed okra and tomatoes. Cornbread . Fried catfish. Smothered chicken. Pickled pig's feet. Fried cabbage. Neckbones. Tongue. Chittlin's. Tripe. Breaded fried pork chops with a mess of greens. Black-eyed peas...and, grits. There are some other foods that I haven't listed.

There are people who are ignorant, fearful and intolerant of anyone who is different from them be it race, religion or whatever. They have no self-esteem or self-confidence. The only way they feel good about themselves is by putting others down.

People fear that which they don't understand. The color black raises a lot of superstitious fear in people, especially if they have grown up in small neighborhoods with little cultural variety. And a part of it is learned behaviour. Not me, I wear black, have black cats... and so on.
