I remember reading that if you still feel thirsty after drinking a LOT of drinks, including water, eat a pickle(s)...Sodas don't work, they just make you feel like drinking more. Yes, you are reading it correctly, eat dill pickles. Of course, if it is an on going situation, yes, visit your doctor, i knew of someone doing the same for quite a while and found out the person had a medical problem.

Possible Diabetes issues but, have you done a lot of sweating recently or had any GI issues? Loss of electrolytes will cause thirst and, water alone will not help recover those. Pedialyte (or generic) is great for replacing them if you can get past the taste!

I would go to a doctor and ask to have your blood sugar levels checked.
Excessive thirst could be a sign of Diabetes, best not take any chances.
