No, most virologists don't even think that virusses qualify as life. They do not meet all the criteria of the generally accepted definition of life.
Humans, like all other animals, evolved from single cell organisms called eukaryotes.

no. viruses can aid in the process of evolution, but since they are not living beings, we can't exactly evolve from them. they are a branch off the same genetic tree, hence why they use DNA and RNA for genetic codes. and as to the first dude's answer of "no because the bible says so," just laugh. Hey bible thumper, i say you're a tool, and it must be true because i said so. same stupid arguement. :)

Probably not. Scientists believe we ultimately evolved from bacteria. Bacteria are single-celled organisms. Viruses are not even cells. They are organelles, which are small parts of cells. Furthermore, many scientists believe that viruses are not even alive. In addition, viruses probably would not exist without the present of cells to potentially infect, so cells probably came first.

Heh. I dunno, maybe. In many ways, we still are one.

Added: Gee, who would have guessed a question with the word evolution in it would attract a bunch of "nuh-uh, cause the bible and God and...dur..." It's been said a million times, by a million other ignorant, ignorant people. Do you think repeating it is going to convince anyone? The bible explanation is possible, yes. Not definite, possible. Get that through your head.

ignore the bible-thumpers.

realistically, no humans evolved from simple, single celled organisms that evolved from the mitochondria (current theory suggests that mitochondria were one time independant forms of life). these mitochondria evolved from complex molecules consisting of many amino acids. we call these acid chains "protiens."

the first amino acids were formed many billions of years ago.

No, God made humans in his own image. The Bible says so.
