The best I've found is a "pull-up" design, w/ tear away sides. (The traditional design, w/ the side tape is weak and tends to tear apart w/ movement) All brands make the pull-up design (serenity, assurance, depends) but sometimes they are hard to find on the shelf. It's hard to tell the difference between the traditional diapers and the pull-up design just from the packaging. Here's a link to some wholesale sites you can get some. I've also noticed their sizes are usually off, so I'd go a size up, or even 2 sizes up! I'm an in-home health aide and have changed, shopped and discussed the pros and cons w/ patients about many different kinds of protective underwear. Depend also has a site that may help you better direct you to the type you may need to better deal with your specific needs. Hope this helps.

I am moderately incontinent and wear a diaper 24 / 7 and my preference is cloth.
I have worn all those different disposable adult diapers and they are hot and sticky even when dry. They get very uncomfortable.
I switched to cloth a while back and I am much more comfortable than with the disposables. True, I still have to wear something over them to keep the wetness in when needed but they are still a lot more comfortable.
They have velcro closure so they are easy to get on and off when needed, especially in a restroom at work or when out shopping. I do have partial control so that is important.
If you open the tabs on a disposable they don't stick very well the second time and the pull ups, well, they are like wearing a piece of cardboard between you legs and they are just about as absorbant.

I like the Depend Over Nights I have tryed all of them and like Depends better. I pee on my self about 30 times in 24 hours and the depends hole the water better than any I have tryed. HeII my diaper is wet now!! I dont much care for coluth because of the plastic panties. They to me leak to bad. I don't know but I think I have wet the diaper I am wearing now 2 times after the 3rd time I will have to change my diaper!! So anyway try Depends to me they are the BEST!!...Good luck from the Nutcase!!..PS ..did i win...did i wn...did i win????
