Sheer boredom. I took all these extra classes in school,out of curiosity, and i have all this useless knowledge just sitting there.Seems a shame to waste it.

There are people who will use and use and reuse what love we give them and never give another soul the time of day. I recently drove a thousand miles out of my way for a stranger who needed assistance and at the end of the journey he said he thought I should pay him for the pleasure I had from him trying to not thank me. Is this a bigger way to help others?

i like to help folks. I also like it because it's dynamic, almost real time interaction with lots of different people...better than gaming or just surfing. It's good therapy to get things said/off my chest. I actually learn stuff as I go....stuff i didn't expect to learn...expanding. And to laugh...some of these questions are just jokes...there's some real comedic talent out there. And I'm enjoying not just points but best answers are even more fun.

Fun and entertaining, and this points system kind of locks you in. To be honest, I haven't been on Ebay since I started this, so I guess I can say It also saves me money LOL

I like to help whenever I can and in whichever way I can. Sometimes I just like to answer questions for fun. In some cases, to give my opinion.

because I am homebound due to disability and it is my way of being able to communicate with other people. I find it stretches my mind and lets me use the education that I fought so hard to get. I get very lonely at home sometimes and this is one way that I can communicate with folks and enjoy myself. Plus, I can share information and ideas, learn things and get new viewpoints on stuff.

For more knowledge on various topics. The only problem is that people have recently began immaturely posting stupid , non-humorous jokes on this site as questions.

Its fun and sometimes you see some really dumb stuff that just totally makes your day.
Also because...its like a game. Get more points, MAKE THE BEST ANSWER! And all this crap.
