Tatoo or No Tatoo?

Do you have one? Do you like when other people have them?

No tattoo, I feel that I am more original by not having one.

Tattoo's are said to be a poor mans form of expressive art, at least that is what I was told growing up. I personally do not have one, but both of my boys do!
If you are going to get one, make sure that you get it done by a professional who works in a clean, almost sterile establishment.

They should use clean needles and new paint for every person.
They should have a clean appearance and not be drunk or high!
Make sure you discuss the tattoo with the person in detail before you get it.
Follow all cleaning procedures and go directly to a doctor if something does not look like it is not healing right.

Another consideration is the placement of the tattoo. You do not want to place it in an area where you may have saggy skin in 10 years or a place where it could be considered unacceptable.

Make sure that you are getting this tattoo because you want it and not because you think it is a popular thing to do. By the way, I like my oldest sons wolf in the middle of his back, It look so neat!

I always say "Why guild the lily?" Your body is
so much more beautiful naturally. It's like taking
a gorgeous scenic view and putting up obnoxious
bill boards. Ew.

Get a temporaty tatoo. That could be fun and trendy.
But, chances are what you find interesting this year
won't be interesting in ten years. (Especially with
body changes). When you're a grandmother
you'll want to throw the mermaid on your back back into
the sea.

I have 2 tattoos. It is a life changing experience. Try a Hanna tattoos first... or a temporary tattoo from the local rite aides drug store..they will fade or Wash way over time. If you decide to get a permanent tattoo, get something to represents you, not someone you are emotionally attached to other than your kids if you have any. If you do get one start small and on a part of the body that has a lot on muscle. I would not say they hurt but the is a lot of sensation. I think tattoos can be sexy, and more than 3 is a matter of taste. Good look and take your time.

I don't have any yet, but I love to look at other people's tattoos and am fascinated by the art and stories behind them.

However, I'm not sure if I want to get one. My brother-in-law has 7 tattoos, and he now says that he regrets every one of them and wishes he had enough money to get them all removed... I asked him why he hates them and he said "Imagine wearing the same shirt every day for the rest of your life. That's what its like having a tattoo."

No i dont have 1 and i dont really like people who have tatoos. I dont really see the benefits of it.

Yes, I've got a few. My boyfriend as well. I like tattoos because they tell a story. So far mine all represent someone that is important to me. The only time I don't like them is when people get them just to be "cool" and those god-forsaken lower back tattoos. If you're thinking about getting one, make sure it means something to you.

I love mine! I have 5. I think I want to get one more and that will be it for me. I think tattoos are interesting. People can go overboard just like with anything else but it's a great form of personal expression.

i dont have a tattoo. i dont like men/women with tattooes. Personally, when i was a kid, when i see a man with a tattoo, i think he's a bad guy, or somebody whose been in jail. if it's a woman with a tattoo, i thought she's more or less like a wh*re. But as i've grown, i realize others do it as an art... but still it looks dirty to me.
